Leaping Lizards!

We saw many lizards on our trip down south, and I am terribly sorry to say that most of them were not as cute as this one. Meet Sammy, we met him on a sidewalk in St. Augustine outside of Flagler College. We also saw way too many crocodiles (or alligators, I did not get close enough to make any sort of expert distinction) and an iguana in the middle of the road heading into Key West. We slowed almost to a stop on the highway to avoid hitting the iguana, and just when we thought we would have to go around him, he picked up his tail and booked it off to the side of the road. If you have never seen an iguana run before, let me assure you it is a treat. It is even more laughable than watching me run.
